Meet the
The people behind Embedism — a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designers, and project managers building hardware that lasts.
Nathan Ruttley
Nathan Co-Founded Embedism and in his role as CEO he ensures that our team is always working in the best interests of our clients and delivering excellent work. An electronic engineer by trade he still contributes to the technical delivery across projects too, with schematic and PCB design work. In his spare time he enjoys live music and spending time with his young family.

Jack Raison
Jack is the Head of Design and Mechanical Engineering. He has been working in the industry for over 14 years across a spectrum of design disciplines and company sizes. From high level concept generation to tinkering with prototype parts in the workshop, he enjoys the variety of work happening at Embedism. A man of many hobbies means he's always up to something, but he's normally spending his weekends in his own workshop building something he probably doesn't need.
Nick Ormesmith
Nick Ormesmith is Head of Operations and Project Management at Embedism. Before joining, he co-founded a hardware start-up that ran a hugely successful crowdfunding campaign. That journey gave him a direct understanding of the funding, manufacturing, and scaling challenges hardware founders face. At Embedism, he manages client projects from early-stage development through to production - keeping every project moving from tricky design briefs to commercial questions. He still finds time to sketch, build, and tinker whenever he can.
Louis Kibble
Louis is a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice at Embedism. He brings three years of experience in product design to the team, with a specific focus on mechanical design. At Embedism, he spends his time developing intricate CAD models, ensuring that complex internal components fit perfectly within functional, manufacturable enclosures. He enjoys the challenge of solving spatial puzzles where every millimetre counts. Outside of work, Louis is usually working on home projects.
Juan Garcia
Juan D. Fonnegra Garcia is an Electronic Design Apprentice at Embedism. He is studying an apprenticeship to get to work on real hardware sooner. He supports the engineering team by working across the prototyping process, which includes circuit design, ordering PCBs, soldering, breadboarding, and troubleshooting to take designs from idea to a working circuit. Outside of work, he plays chess, gets lost in games like Balatro, and is slowly convincing a saxophone to cooperate with him.
