Where are you based?
Both our design studio and manufacturing facility are located in Brixton, South London.
What is "bridge manufacturing"?
Bridge manufacturing addresses the "volume gap" between prototyping and mass manufacturing by manufacturing products, typically in quantities from 50-5000 units.
What volume of units can you manufacture?
We can manufacture just 1 unit up to many thousands of units.
Do you work with startups / pre-seed companies?
We regularly work with small startups that have limited development budgets, and companies looking to raise seed capital in the near future.
What does an engagement with Embedism typically look like?
Embedism can be engaged right at the start of a project (the ideation phase), or later on during the product design phases of development. Typically our clients work with us throughout the entire product design lifecycle, right from ideation through to manufacture.
Do you work with clients outside the UK?
We work with clients globally, primarily in the UK, EU, USA, and Asia.

Can you take over a project that was started elsewhere?
We can take on a project at any stage, even if it was started internally or by another product design agency. We will always conduct a thorough review of the existing designs and products before starting any further work.

A typical electronics agency only handles the electronics, and sometimes firmware, of your design. Embedism handles industrial design, mechanical engineering, electronics, firmware, DFM, procurement, and manufacturing - all with one team working from the same location.
