There is a gap between a working prototype and the five thousand unit minimum order that most contract electronics manufacturers quote against. Products stall in it, sometimes for a year, because low volume electronics manufacturing is genuinely awkward to run profitably and most EMS providers would rather not.
We call the way we close that gap bridge manufacturing. In practice we place PCB assembly with carefully vetted partners in the UK, Europe or Asia, chosen against your volumes, lead times and cost targets rather than our convenience. Box build, final assembly, provisioning, functional test, packaging and low-volume direct-to-customer distribution then run from our own London facility, at batch sizes from ten units upwards, managed by the same engineers who designed the board. You get a route to market at real volumes while your design is still changing, and an ISO 9001 certified quality system around it from the first batch rather than the first thousand.
